Dragons Blood ink

I need to make some dragons blood ink. But have had little success. The recipes I have is 1 part dragons blood,one part Gum arabica,and 12 parts alcohol.has anyone used this recipe before?

That sounds like way to much alcohol for the amount of dragons blood and gum arabic your putting in there

Yes it does seem really thin.I have ran out of supplies trying to make it. I finally rearranged the original recipe with great results before i ran out.

I was going to buy it ready made but they were out and suggested I make it. And I really like making my own herb mixes anyway.
