Our bodies are human, our souls are energy, and our form spiritually merely reflects our nature, but it is still just energy, no true permanent form. Only through lives do we have a true form we cannot change.
WhiteRav3n - I disagree... I believe you can have a soul that is meant to be in a certain species' body. As in, someone could have a soul that is a wolf or a dragon or something. Of course souls can go into any species but I think they are mostly meant to be in a particular body.
Now of course I could be wrong and some otherkin don't believe in the soul theory... It's just my simple opinion.
I'm an otherkin, and I have had many lives, as I can only remember a few, I can say though, that some of them were not human lives. Some of them were lives that some would even dispute the existence of.
