Where does the soul go? Does just aim Wondering around. My mother died a few days ago. I'm asking just want some insight about where could she be. Please be respectful does who don't believe in spirits
According to some beliefs there are various realms one goes to after death;Heaven in Christianity,Valhala in the Norse Beliefs,Esyluim in Greek Mythology, etc
The soul may also be reincarnated depending on the Karma they've accumulated in this life (Hindus and Buddhists belive in this)
I personally believe the physical body and energy of the person returns to the Earth completing the Life cycle, the soul moves on to a higher realm or is probably reincarnated
I think it has a bit to do with the person's religion/belief system. As for Atheists, would guess there souls are more prone to wander, but I wouldn't know. What was your mother's religion? (Sorry for your loss, by the way.)
Hi Osiris6, I apologize about your mother and it is funny that you asked that question because I just made a post asking if anyone could help me get in touch with my mother who passed many years ago. I don't know what happens to a person soul when they pass, but I think that they are in a better place as far as them suffering it is over. I was told that it isn't good to disturb the Spirits, or something to that effect but there are people that can help me. I know that I rambled but I hope you can find an answer somewhere in this.
Yea I don't want to contact her.. Although I wouldn't mind.. Its will just gives me some peach to know where she's at. As many said no ones knows about spirits. I wish someone did...
Hey. I am really sorry to hear about your loss. I do not know if this helps you much, but in our lore, souls are said to still wander around the places they have been to before for like 48 days, before ascending. They are also believed to return on Earth on special ocassions such as Christmas or Halloween.
The second belief is related to the fact that these days are charged with a lot of energy that supposedly "weakens the veil" between the worlds.
I do not know how much of this is true, but if it is,it shall be able to help you connect to her. If you try to communicate with her,by all means, stay away from ouija boards.
The most helpful way to connect to our loved ones is not a supposedly dangerous practice that we never tried before, but something we did in the past: think of them with love. She may even appear in your dreams or deliver you a message by these means.
Just keep on loving her and thinking of her. Souls that are bound by love are said to never lose each other.
I hope this helps you. Then again,I am sorry to hear about that, but souls are eternal, buddy. If you believe in that, know that then she never died and nor will you ever lose your bound with her.
Please accept my heart felt condolences. When I lost my dad, I started to write to him in a journal. Oddly enough, within the fortnight, I'd see him in a dream, where he'd answer questions or just be there to put my mind to rest. This led me to believe that souls of loved ones stay with us, for a while at least. To make sure that we're okay. Once they feel like we're doing well, they move on, either to reincarnate or ascend to another plane.
In my paradigm, A person has two souls, the breath-soul that is the animating spirit that all people have, and the wandering-soul which is our eternal companion and connection to spirit and the unseen.
The breath-soul disperses within days after death as it separates from the wandering-soul, although there are ways around that, ghosts being a notable example. The wandering soul sinks and deepens into Elphame, and the breath-soul ceases to be ultimately.
