Profiles[ Important.

Why is a member's Profile important?
GENDER.
Most members like to know if they are addressing a male or a female; not vital; but it's good to know.
AGE.
I, and I am sure other members, like to know if we are addressing a child "newbe", or an adult!
LOCATION.
Very important for two reasons. Language and Time Zones. Just town and country. Not postal address!
SEXUAL ORIENTATION.
Not important at all!
SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF.
If you write, even a little, about who and what you are; your interests. Then other members with similar interests will no doubt contact you.
PHOTOGRAPH.
Not important. A matter of preference.

So, you see? Leaving a Profile completely blank is not very good.

very true. [of course in this day and age 'gender' is a grey area, it's 'gender identity' now some might be mad choosing] i'm quite surprised the number of people i've seen who put their full street address. perhaps it's because it wasn't until i was 10 that people started having internet in their homes, but it's the internet, anyone can track you down.
