Has anyone read the "Buclands complete book of witchcraft" by Raymond Buckland? If you have what are your opinions on the book?

This book is actually amazing. I haven't got until the half way, and I don't continue reading it. From the point I got though (not many pages), I realized what Witchcraft finally is... I was amazed. I suggest you this book.

I actually think it is not so great and provides an extremely misrepresentation of what witchcraft was and is today.

Hi, I think that the book is great so far, I've only read about three chapters, but I am also reading various Wicca books that are on kindle cloud but I want to remain in the same sections of the study in all areas, if you know what I mean, but the book is great,

Blessed be.

i find it a great workbook, but it depends on your path. i wish more books had sections with questions and activities for beginners, because many read and never do, or they'll swear by the book and never ask themselves why they agree. it's a good starting point.

The book is decent enough. However the name is a source of many issues. It is a book about Wicca. It is not a book that encompasses all of what Witchcraft is known to be.

Buckland's book used to be one of the better Wiccan books out there, but it has become a bit dated particularly in how it addresses the history of Wicca. I think " Wicca: A Year and a Day " by Timothy Roderick and " Wicca " by Thea Sabin are better books given what we now know.
