Are there people who....?

Are there people who can, to an extent, talk to people and therefore be able to sense things about people, in terms of magic, species and such..(just things in that area)?

I guess so...anyone can do that it's not called magic it's instinct.

kind of, like see someones aura, or sense their energy. could also be some form of clairvoyance or empathy, but if you mean mind reading or have visions of a strangers past, no, that's fictional. to a degree some people can sense if something bad/good happen in an area, it's usually the energy in the area lingers.

That is sort of what I meant.

Now, about your 'fictional' part, I believe that if you have enough belief, it might well be possible, however that wasn't what I was looking for, the first half of your reply was.

wasn't sure exactly what you were asking, so i tried to cover my bases with the answer.

regarding having enough belief for things to be possible, not to bash anothers views, but the reality is some things just aren't. belief can be a powerful thing, and while i applaud self discovery, you can't jump off your roof and fly if you believe hard enough, it's just not humanly possible. perhaps one day we could evolve to have the ability to see someones history in our mind like a movie, but right now, no. while i'm not as clairvoyante as others, from personal experience, it's feeling the energy in a room, an object, a person, not looking at someone and seeing in your minds eye how they murdered someone or whatever. that said, there are some psychics who claim they can see events, but not in that vivid of detail.
