An Odd Problem

I am fairly new to the world of Magick, my mother began practicing Wicca a few years ago and as a child my father had delved heavily into the Occult and various realms of magick in the world. I was born a natural psychic vampire, I have found carrying a mix of certain stones helps to stop the energy stealing. However I also discovered that after my grandfather died his spirit lingered around me an I developed a natural shield. The shield and vampirism ended up coexisting somehow. I feed on energy and in turn it feeds the shield. This makes studying and practicing rather difficult to do because the Shield is constantly negating magick! Is there some way to remove these effects permanently or perhaps tame them? Also any suggestions on the potential that could come from this?

don't know too much about psi vampires, but you might be able to control it if you did more energy work so you can feel the flow of energy, and when you feel low, tap into the energy around us instead of other peoples. try centering and grounding energy [http://www.spellsofmagic.com/read_posts.html?post=598114] shielding can help but it shouldn't neutralize your magickal energy, so i would focus more on connecting to the energy to try and see if there's some type of block.

I don't know too much about psi vampirism except how to block it and that they can drain your energy. But I would guess that it's like overcoming most thing find a balance and strong willpower
