Hello, I just wanted to ask..what all can you do in the astral world. I heard you could go to just about anywhere even space. Even to god and goddess realms. I also saw that there are fighting tournaments on the astral plane? Could you change your looks too. ARe there mythical creatures on the astral plane? How do you even get there? It seems fun but I just need to know that I won't permanently leave my body. THAT would be terrifying.
From what i know you just can't "stay" in the astral plane, you will come back by the same way you come back from a dream.
I'm not sure if the astral plane you are talking about is the same as lucid dreaming. I'm new to all the astral projection you see :p
It's a weird subject, the difference of the astral and sleeping. But I believe that when we also, we go to a plane inside the astral not directly connected to our own. But when you astral project, you get to actually go to places and do real things. I never done it successfully yet, but i will!
You will permanently leave your physical body. It's called dying.
Learning soul travel will indeed enable you to have more control over your body past death. I've met or seen, dead individuals who do not even know that they are dead, are stuck in some way or another, cease to exist because they didn't believe in any afterlives, and other peculiar combinations, so coming into realization that consciousness is not bound by flesh, while also maintaining that there is an intimate connection between the two, is what soul travel enables.
And there are limits to both astral projection and soul travel. For obvious reasons, sometimes you aren't allowed in certain places, and will be blocked from them, but for the most part, yeah, you can go practically anywhere. Some pplaces will be more dangerous, true.
And yeah, there are wars taking place in the astral, amongst other things.
I say soul travel, because astral projection means projecting onto the astral plane, whereas there are other planes beyond it. And just as it is bad to limit one's consciousness to their physical body, the same would go for limiting one's consciousness to their astral body.
And yes, people have, and still go to space. It's always an interesting project. Also, into the ocean's depths, under the earth, to infinity and beyond. And sure, you can indeed go knock on the doors to meet the gods, though do be careful, some beings don't appreciate this without their permission.
I say "met and seen", because I didn't meet that individual past disincarnation. I couldn't get to them, at all.
And yeah, a shade and remnant will be left all the time but that's very different and one should learn to distinguish from it and the actual spirit of the dead
