I have a question

In some spells there are chants or you must recite a verse and sometimes these verses are not in English such as http://www.spellsofmagic.com/spells/spiritual_spells/force_spells
I would like to know what this is, is this a language or just gibrish? I'm really intrigued if it's a language what is it so I can research? Thanks!

Hold your hands together where your thumbs face each other, so that your index and middle finger touch. With your other fingers, position them in the shape of a gun. Chant three times: On abira unkyan sharakutan.

That being said, that chant is taken from a piece of fanfiction on the internet and isn't even spelled correctly. So I doubt it would work. The words appear to be gibberish.
