Need smaller tarot cards

I started practicing tarot with a standard Raider-Waite set and the biggest issue I have is that for an adult- I have child size hands and this deck feels monstrous to work with.

I'm at the point where I feel comfortable buying a new set, but I definately want smaller cards. So what tarot set (if you have any in the store) are the cards smaller in size? They can even just be slimmer, that would be a great help.

Have you tried making your own deck? I think that would be your best bet, since you can fully customize the size and the art of your tarot deck.

You might try the Hanson-Roberts deck. The cards are about 1/2-2/3 the size of the typical Tarot card.

I think everyone has this problem. I just hold the deck by the shorter edge and shuffle them length ways. It is awkward at first, but you will get used to them.

There are many different sites/ people who will also make custom smaller card/ mini full decks for you at a reasonable price. I know Barnes & Noble makes/sells a few rather cheap complete mini deck as well.

However etsy.com is a great place to find full sized mini decks that can also be custom upon request depending on the shop - often with great art if you don't feel like making your own or do not have time to. Even shops that make full sized can sometimes make minis on request to. Just ask.

I've decided to make my own set. I'm one card in but feeling really good about it!!

I bought a lot more paper than I realize I would need so I might make multiples but so far it's going well. Wish I could upload a picture on here, but thank you all so much!

Update: I have uploaded a picture of my cards! The picture is in my photos on my profile. I ended up drawing up several versions of The Fool, and inadvertently am now making three decks but I'm enjoying the creation process. I haven't drawn in years but this is has been great!
