Is it possible that music can give you the answers if you're spell is or isn't working? Like when you've been thinking about the spell you've done and then a song comes on with your desire, feelings and the exact situation you're going through can that be a sign of something? Just curious
I would say music could indicate such emphasis of success or denial. Various practitioners utilize music in their spells, rites, rituals, practical use, etc to not only attune to the atmosphere but also to enhance their works in multiple aspects.
More modernly, there is a form of divination dubbed "shufflemancy" which has increased in popularity and is often used by those practitioners that infiltrate sciomancy, necromancy, omens, and deity work. In general the concept is that a particular song or indicator song comes on shuffle and will give the user an inclination based on whatever genre, number of song types, number of songs by a particular artist, or the song and its mood/tone in general is associated with to whatever the magickal users is searching for. The divination of sounds such as ololygmancy and lecanomancy have been used similarly for centuries.
This could be applied to your situation. Although the world and its messages are cryptic you may gage on whether something is either falling inauspicious or propitious.
Not only do I believe music has properties of its own, but I feel it also can help your mindset if you are looking to cast, or concentrate like AP. Have you ever listened to a song and the way the cords align gives you goosebumps? Music triggers emotion and changes brain wave patterns.
I remember reading a study once done on the effects of different music on the growth of plants and crystals. The results were amazing. Heavy metal music developed strange branches that twisted in different directions and the crystals formed in sporadic patterns. Classical music formed almost a uniform symmetrical development. This was especially interesting with the crystal growth. If the effect of sound on such things as plants and crystals can be seen clearly, then the effects on our own minds would be just as amazing.
I would say that if you find a strong connection to music, try using it during your meditation or concentration when grounding. If your spell appears to not be coming to fruition and you find answers in music it may be a subconscious way for your body and mind to help you find what it is you are trying to solve.
Honestly there is no yes or no answer here. We all find and seek things out in different ways. This might not be how everyone works but for you, the connection made sense and if the particular song was something that seemed to resonate well with the spell you cast, I would go with it and see if it leads you to where you were trying to go.
