The basics: Imagine a peaceful wonderland of your choosing.
Now pour your energy into constructing this world.
Choose a area to build an altar, it can be a new one or the one in our world.
Now customize the altar, this will be the focal point of your magic in this world.

This is the basic structure of your Astral Sanctuary

Linking:
Now that you have your structure you may want to link your astral world altar to your physical world altar.
To do this take an item from your physical altar and add it to the astral altar.
When you leave home, you can go to the astral and still access your home altar by using this linkage.

This is how to link altars

Shrines/Temples:
In the astral you can build shrines and temples to your deities and ancestors.
But remember these must be taken care of and treated like any other magical or mundane tool.

Solstice:
For thing such as a solstice you can add these to the astral.
By doing this you grow your magick by adding that energy to your sanctuary.
You can celebrate on this pane and when you do this you create a connection between the physical world and the astral world.

A personal astral realm is a place or space on the astral that you invest you energy.
Yes, they would be a form of thought forms.
