It is important to remember that in every relationship there are two sides: yours and theirs.

It is also important to think of the other person, selfish desire is one thing, but if you truly want a healthy relationship with your ex-partner then you need to think of their wellfair too, rather than just your own. If your partner is happy with their life at the moment, or if they are happy with their new partner, then it is highly selfish to want to force them out of their happiness so you can fullfil yours. Relationships are about partnerships and if you are willing to be selfish with them for your own desire then maybe the relationship isn't right for you.

As with all things, magick cannot solve everything, yes you can write and cast a love spell, but many things can be solved through communication and this should not be left till last. Try the mundane methods of getting back together again first, really think about whether this is something you both may want, rather than just yourself and if necessary, move on and find happiness within yourself.

( Also, I think you should just find someone new since you and your ex must have broken up for a reason, so that saying you should find someone who loves you for you and wouldn't leave you, this is just my opinion . )
