I did a spell to open my third eye, and I had really bad headaches, and I could feel it waking up but when I take psychic test and try to guess things with my friends and family. I'm way off. What can I do to improve my psychic abilities?
I'm not surprised that there's a spell. And I don't doubt it could work, but the best way to gain better use of psychic ability (at least by my experience, and I am by no means a mystic) is meditation. You may try chakra alignment as well, as it can really help you to be aware of what the energies within you are doing. The third eye is it's own chakra region and as with the rest, sometimes needs a little adjustment. Unfortuantely with the energies in yourself, a little adjustment can mean a lot of focus.
You can ask me if you wish for further instruction on this, or you could just google it. But even with spellcraft the energies within yourself should be aligned.

Meditaion and chakra opening is the best way to open your third eye. Spellwork is very difficult when you don't have your third eye open, therefore doing a spell on yourself to open your third eye can flop. As it did. you should active your third chakra more and practice more for it.
telepathy is one of the work of third eye.but the result of your correct answer to your friend can be improve by more focus.
but there are other things that affect your results.the stars and planets can have a clear affect to your telepathy and any work that is related to it.for axample when you feel sad or happy with no reason,that can be because of stars and planet becuase they have a close connect to our energy and even to our auras.and also our thoughts send energy to all over the universe specially to stars.
and also some people think it is painful to open the third eye.but it is not more painful than a simple headache of catching cold.and also all people don't feel pain in thier head when the 3th chakra is opening.they may feel cold or warm in thier head.but it is just for some minutes to some hours.
but if you do some mantra of meditation to open the 3th chakra very much,it can be dangerouse.
