Is there any difference between casting a curse and casting a spell? Like if I cast curse is there anything special I need to know/do? I have tried to understand the difference and to me it looks like curse is just spell with negative intentions (at least from caster's perspective). Is it wrong or correct understanding? If it is wrong understanding then I would like to know what is correct understanding.
When I googled beginner friendly curses, I found this page:
http://www.spellsandmagic.com/blackmagic.html
Can anyone with experience tell if those curses could be working ones? Since I am still beginner I dont have very good understanding yet what is fake and what is real. Some general guideline might also be useful.
I would also like to know how important is it to follow everything? For example if spell or curse says "Light 3 black candles" and I cant do this because I live in dormitory, can I still cast such spells/curses?
In addition I would also like to know if these spells from this site work:
http://www.spellsofmagic.com/spells/luck_spells/bad_luck_spells/23193/page.html
http://www.spellsofmagic.com/spells/luck_spells/bad_luck_spells/20506/page.html
Since someone on this forum told me that not all spells on this site are working I would like to know about these. Or even better if I cold learn why something works or doesn't work. Then I could use my lessons from pervious times to evaluate spells on this site and other sites.
Yeah, only difference is the intent. If you're working with spirits or demons then you might want to find a demon who is good at cursing.
Don't worry about following instructions to the letter. A ritual is only there to focus your mind. It's your brain that does all the work.
As you are a beginner, spells, especially ones meant to bring bad energy to another are definitely not the place to start. There are no beginner spells, even a simple spell needs the caster to have a good grasp of the basics.
No spell is going to work for you if you don't have the basic skills to cast one. You need to be able to raise, direct and send energy with focussed intent. You need to be able to ground the left over energy.
You need to understand why the spell is structured the way it is as well. For example, why is a love spell best cast on a Friday? What crystals and herbs are best to use with such spell? What incense? What phase of the moon is best? What time of day is best? etc etc Basically in my opinion until you are able to write your own spells you shouldn't be casting anything.
Instead you need to study and practice, there are many pinned posts in the forums on the basics so go through and have a good read of them. A good book to start with is 'Spells and How They Work' by Janet and Stewart Farrar.
Good contribution. Though I must ask: wouldn't days, phases of the moon, inscence etc all fall in with ritual components ? As such, surely they would only hold the value the caster has personally placed on them ?
Reaverarchon. One of the questions the original poster had was with regards to the ritual components of a particular spell (black candles) and were they important. My point is that if the caster has no understanding of why they are there in the first place then they will have no real meaning and therefore no impact on the spell work at all.
Thanks, If candles and blood and crystals and such can be left out, then how important is that love spell is cast on friday or that some spells are cast during full moon and so on?
Basically I can strip all spells to only saying words and visualizing it happening in my mind?
You can strip a spell down to just focusing energy towards a goal and directing it, in silence. Any extras you add are there because it help you focus.

Is this also true for summoning a demon(s)? Like I dont need candles, pentagrams, water, mirror, etc?
