Herbs and smokeing them.

Ok so herbs and smoking them symbolic-ly is it true that if you believe and smoke enough of a herb for a certain amount of time with your intention and thought and its bound to happen. with your thought and intention the herb is acting as a symbolism of what you wish so say you use peppermint and your looking for in ancient times wasn't it holy to smoke a herb in a ritual session or casting a spell or intention on someone.

Same Question but with tobacco is it a symbolism for smoking the herb of your choise trying to say its enough or not enough or I'm in waiting for my chance to take a hit.

i've just been wondering this question because it seems like it would be a connection towards my path changing in the wrong direction and for the better.

No it is not true that if you believe and 'smoke' enough of an herb that what you want will come true. Magic requires far more effort on your part to work.

Herbs are often burnt as incense to help change the air around you to bring it in tune with a certain magical intention. The smoke of the burning incense can also be used as an offering to the gods.

You may want to research the use of incense and smells in magical practice.
