The option is open as to whether you would like a join a coven. Check them out and see which one suits you best if you choose this to be your path. there are a few for beginners so these may suit. Just because you are in a certain coven this does not disallow you to find other people in order to discuss your findings and ask questions to. However it does mean that certain spells and discussions are for the coven and the coven only.
