If we are only human, can we change our bodies to look and function like other animals, at least parts of them, such as changing my nose into that of a wolf so that i can smell better?

Nope, sorry.

We cannot change ourselves physically with magick, that does include things like changing your nose into that of another animal, or even changing eye colour or body type, etc.

Magick works alongside nature, not against it and it cannot change or alter our DNA.

If it sounds too good to be true, or can't be done without magick, it likely can't be done with it.

You could ask for the attributes of an animal, The farsightedness of the Eagle, the cunning of the Fox etc.

Most often magic like this has nothing to do with gaining animal abilities like senses of smell or hearing. It is more about emulating their behaviors and qualities to gain in a positive way from their personalities, habits, and instincts. For example in Kung-Fu the anmimal forms aren't to grant the qualities of the animals from the five forms, but to train those qualities into the self through mimicing their movements and behavior. For example, by observing the stork and how it maintains its balance, one mimics that natural instinct and method of movement to develop balance as well.

It is the same way for magic, which is why it is so often referred to as a aympathetic practice. One study's an animal to understand its nature and instincts, and endeavours to emulate the positive qualities they want to see manifest in their own life. One might also do some magical or shamanistic practices to temporarily step into the mindset of a particular animal, to see life through their eyes and gain personal insight through the experience. This usually takes study, practice, repetition, and under some paths one first needs to be of a certain level of initiation to ensure you can enact such a practice with knowledge, respect, personal control, and safety. It isn't terribly uncommon for a hallucinogen or two to be involved as well under certain cultures or paths; depending on your goals or how deeply you want to try and connect with the attitudes and spirit of the animal in question.
