Before I was born, a woman my mom worked with had a dream that my mom was pregnant with me and this was before my mom even knew she actually was pregnant. The dream felt so real to my mom's friend that she made my mom take a double pregnancy test just to confirm it. Everything the woman described came true when I was born, she told my mom how I looked and what I was named. I don't really know what i'm looking for but it has to mean something right? I just want to know if that mean i'm like special or the woman is? Does the dream mean something or is it just a freaky coincidence? Am I destined for something, if so what? or am I reading into it too much
It might be a coincidence. A lot of women obsess about their own and others' pregnancies to the extent they may dream about it.
It may have been precognition.
Does it mean anything special? Who knows?
My mother claims to have had a series of dreams when she was a teenager, which foretold her life until death. Some of it came true without effort. Some of it came true, after she put herself and others through a lot of risk -- and almost cost my sister's and my lives in the process. Some of it has been significantly different.
Sometimes a premonition comes true with no effort. Sometimes people make sure it happens (which is a risk with people who rely too much on psychic readings, for example), and sometimes it seems like a premonition, but it is not so true.
You said a lot of women obsess over their own and others pregnancies but the woman had no clue my mom was pregnant till she had the dream and since it was so realistic to her that she had to see if it was true, even my mom had no clue she was pregnant because she was only like a month in.
Yes: there can be obsession about the potential of pregnancy. I'm sure you have seen it: The constant anticipation that someone is going to have a baby. One does not have to be pregnant for someone else to be wondering if they will be.
It's the way someone does not have to have a car wreck to have a nightmare about the fear of having a car wreck.
Dreams are born of the subconscious, and are very abstract.
I have a feeling that in this situation it has to do with dream interpretation and dream analysis, or maybe lucid dreaming.
But i think it is dream interpretation
