Ok so I have a friend that does this kind of stuff and when I went to her about a strange past life memory she told me that when my spirit was first born it was born human/Fairy but I chose my human life over my fave life. Is this even possible?
In my honest opinion, maybe it could've happened, we don't know what happened in the far past and if you believe that this has happened then you should study it more, dive deeper. If you think that what she said is untrue, then simply forget about it and ask her to reconfirm what she said. I'm all about these types of things. (;
First thing's first; What defines who or what you are and have been is you. Lots of people like to play 'reader', and some are accurate, some aren't. Some are just excited for their own discoveries and might be projecting the wish to have others who are similar into their efforts and coloring what they see with wishful thinking. This is not to insult or discredit though. It is pretty normal to happen. And sometimes, there is merit to such interpretations. But the only individual who ultimately can know the truth of the idea is you. it might be an idea to explore, but if you feel that way then explore it thuroughly. Self reflection and critical thinking are the only things that can decide with certainty.
To answer the question itself; , it is indeed possible. But whether or not you have a little Fae in you isn't of much importance really. Not unless you choose to give it importance. Soul itself, like any other energy, is by nature formless. I look at it as light and energy and consciousness, which grows and learns through experiences. Some of those experiences may have involved energies, places/planes, and possibly even beings that could be considered as fae. And those experiences might have in turn taught you things, and given you images and ideas that might then have guided your Self perceptions and energies as a soul. So you might have (or even may still) carried an image and energy about yourself that reflect yourself as a fae.
But ultimately in this moment you are living as a human in a human body and most strongly tied to human lessons and experiences in a physical place. So in the present moment, that is probably what most strongly identifies who/what you are. And that is true even if you come to a personal conclusion that you have a connection to fae and/or fae energies. it boils down to choice. Even if you feel intimately and strongly that you are 100% a fae in a human body, you still can easily decide if you want to tap into that idea and make it a conscious and active part of your life, or if you want to let the idea rest on the side as a neat but inconsequential quirk. it is up to you and how deeply you want to explore or make use of the idea.
One thought that helps keep people grounded is a basic understanding that either way, human or not, it doesn't really change much other than your perspective on things. You do not become more than human, certainly no better (or worse). Same potentials for growth. Same body with its strengths and weaknesses. But maybe a few different predispositions. You might find by exploring a fae connection that magical thoughts, meditations, and other spiritual explorations involving the fae might come more naturally to you. You might find yourself connecting more strongly to magic if you use fae imagery and symbolism because it feels more familiar or natural. That sort of thing.
I am wondering though, you mentioned that this fae/human choice was supposedly made when your spirit was born... is that to imply before any expressions of incarnations, IE; When you first came into being as a soul? or more about places/energies you first chose to be born into as an incarnation? I assumed more or less the latter in this. if it is the former then please correct me.
