Is this normal?

While casting a dream spell I've done before, I usually get a headache and feel drained afterwards. But this time I got this feeling in the center of my forehead and in my chest. I really don't know how to describe it exactly but it felt good. I soon started crying tears of joy afterwards. Which has never happened before lol. I'm not sure if the dream I tried to send to my guy worked strongly than before or not.

It sounds like you activated or were using your chakras, your third eye on between your eyes and maybe your heart chakra, not sure about the others. That's a good thing really!!
If you work at it or repeat what you did you can identify what lead to opening those chakras up and be able to do it more easily.
I know the feeling you are talking about, getting emotional after doing magic works, it's a wild and amazing feeling!
