Emperor/Empress

Hello there! I have been trying to fine tune my tarot skills and so I've been trying to do a reading a day. Last night I did a reading and the Emperor and the Empress both came up in the same reading, the reading began with the Emperor and ended with the Empress. I thought that was really interesting! Has that happened to anyone else, or anyone have any thoughts? Thanks for sharing if you do!!!

Since you did not specify that they were upright or reversed I am going to assume each of them were upright. The empress is a wonderful card to surround yourself with nature and to take good care of yourself, that card can also mean a situation can turn out positively if you had one in mind and this card is a good sign you may be successful in some ways. While the emperor card is pointing towards control and your hard work and that may have gotten you in control of some ways. This card also can represent a father figure, perhaps a promotion, and of course, authority. These cards can actually mix well together.
