Psych ward

Hi guys! I just got out of a hospital because my spirituality makes my family think I’m insane. While there I was questioning God because I’ve felt disconnected from him in my work and since I was locked up I was drawn further. While there a patient who was mumbling to himself came in front of my door and said “she’s thinking there’s not a God that’s ridiculous.” Can someone tell me if this was a sign or some sort of sync? I mean obviously it was but I feel like there was a deeper meaning.
