Energy magic tips?

Hi everyone. I have practiced with energy magic for a while but still cant seem to cast anything. Are there some simple spells or tips that i can practice or use to better my spell casting?

What manner of spells have you tried to cast, if you don't mind me inquiring?

Mainly psy ball creation and 1 fimiliar creation

What exactly were your expectations with these attempts at psi balls and creating a familiar? Do you want physical manifestation of these things, or something else?

If you can charge energy, try cupping your hands around a candle and pushing energy into it, think about something you would like [if it's a money spell, see yourself finding money on the street, working hard and getting a raise or bonus, getting a check in the mail, so on. If it's health visualize yourself exercising, eating healthy, going to the doctor, and basically what you consider to be healthy] then light the candle and continue to reflect on the thing you chose to cast for. Let the candle burn out but if it's too big [i typically use tea lights] sniff it out. Simple spell.
