Hi, I'm new here, I wanted to know of ways I could alleviate chronic pain (I have fratured my thumb, I also have permanent soft tissue damage in my arm, gouty arthritis, a fatty liver)
The worst thing about the chronic pain I have is that is very painful and it is chronic muscular cramp, chronic joint pain.
Are there any medicinal herbs, oils that would be helpful?
Are there any spells that might be helpful?
I have found that the herb chamomile is very helpful with muscular cramps. Drinking a cup of nettle leaf tea is also useful for helping your joints. You may want to also look into crystal healing that I have heard is good for chronic pain.

Hello Welcome to Spells of Magic!
Definitely contact your health practitioner and see what they recommend for treatment. If you want to manage your health with herbal preparations I would suggest seeing a naturopathic doctor.
Typically for gouty arthritis the general recommendations are a diet low in uric acid (limit meat/seafood products, avoid alcohol and drinking pop). Anti-inflammatory drugs are helpful for your problem but I would contact your health practitioner for long-term use. Cannabis oil is the trendy thing here in Canada now that it is legal. Although it is hard to get your hands on legally because of supply and demand. Still talk to your health practitioner about your options.
For muscle pain and cramps I would suggest a hot water bottle or those microwavable bean bags. The heat feels nice. Alternatively you could run a hot bath. Raspberry leaf tea is often suggested for cramps although it's not as strong as a conventional treatment like advil. Sometimes massaging the area that is painful may help, but it could make things worse. I like black pepper oil or peppermint oil mixed with a carrier oil for pain relief, although it isn't very strong and I think the heat applied to the area is much nicer.
Spells probably won't help much. Unless your intent is to not react to your pain. There is a medical doctor where I live that teaches meditation for people who have chronic pain and max out their usage of medication and home remedies. You could try some YouTube videos for meditations on pain. It helps you live with a problem that isn't bound to go away any time soon, or sometimes it never will.
Anyways that is my suggestion. Please see your health practitioner about your pain management options :)
As mentioned above, Nettle leaf is extremely helpful with circulation, which can elevatewith chronic pain. I have recently started using CBD oil for those I am assisting, which you can purchase on-line (just double check to make sure it is legal in your state/country) People have reported amazing results with chronic pain almost vanishing. It is sold in a variety of application methods. The one I find most useful is cream, so you can apply it anywhere on your body that is hurting (hands feet etc..) and it works very fast. It isn't cheap so shop around for the best price and always test it first on a small area of your skin to ensure you don't have any adverse reactions to it.
Someone also mentioned above crystal healing. This is an excellent way to utilizenatural energy. You will need to do some research on which specimens will be most useful to you. There are many different ways to use crystals/stones. I use crystal grids (generally each morning) but you can also meditate using crystals, and if you get comfortable enough, you can purchase white quartz with a trigger, (this is a chunk of quartz in the crystal point but the base has a small point sticking out to the side. Think of it as two points, the main one and one on the side, "the trigger")
Hopefully some of these might help with your journey in managing your pain. Good luck!
