Familiars

My stepson is into the whole voodoo Wigan thing and has 3 cats I am house sitting till he gets out of jail. I am trying to convince him to get them spayed and neutered. He is against this saying it will affect them being familiars. I need all info supporting my cause its better for the cats health prevents cancer and the one femal her kittens die every liter so please give me info thanks.

If you look up what a familiar is, it’s a spirit, not a living cat.

BlueSecret is correct. A living animal such as these cats is not a familiar That idea is a thoroughly modern one which is incorrect. A familiar is a spirit either in service to the magic user or created by the magic user.
