Hi there!

Does anyone know any spreads (complex and simple) that could help solve crimes or find a missing person?

I did some googling but found lots of troubling pages about psychics who try to find missing/murdered people, which is a direction I would stay away from.

To find someone you'd probably be better with a map and a pendulum, and solving crimes would really depend on the situation at hand. But I guess you could come up with a three card spread of something like:

Victim, Perpetrator(s), How best to move forward

And then from there ask more detailed questions using the cards from before as significatorsif necessary.

This isn't relevant to your question but I once knew someone who at one point devoted themselves to finding missing people using occult means, including contacting spirits. I knew them years afterward and was surprised to learn of their past occupation as they were a highly religious person who's beliefs didn't seem to match their past. It turns out while their intentions were good as well as apparently successful, for a time anyway, they had the misfortune of running across a malevolent entity or force that was less than helpful. After that incident they were either unable or unwilling to continue such work though exactly what occurred is unknown to me.

The point I suppose I'm getting to with that long winded statement is be careful where you get your information from. I think your goal is a good one but not everyone nor every thing will likely agree with that. I'm definitely not trying to discourage you just saying...while you are trying to keep others safe from harm don't forget to guard yourself from harm.

You can always create a spread of your own with as many number cards as you wish. You will need at least three cards to draw. One to show if the person is dead or alive. One to indicate their whereabouts. If the first card demonstrated that they are deceased, you can to ask where most likely the body is. Note I said the body not where they are, because their spirit might not be residing where their body remained. If they are alive, you can ask where they are at. The third one will be for who done it. You can add additional one as of from where they were taken or hurt. Fifth one can be drawn to show what was the motive. Sixth can be for if they will be apprehended by the police (eventually). Seventh card could be about what you could do to aid the process or what is preventing their arrest.

Please keep in mind, this will not work very well if you do not know the victim personally and have some type of emotional/physical link to them. The only other way you have chance is, if you are talented psychic, who has very good ability to work with energy patterns and have premonitions/visions. In the last case, you will still need something of theirs like an object that belonged to them or at least their picture. It is very very rare when someone actually have premonition/vision/dream of the whereabouts of an absolute stranger, without any other aid to help the connection between two individuals. In these rare cases this might have been inspired by higher beings or just on some very deep soul level two souls had some previous connection.

It is good idea to hold the object/picture in your hands and meditate for at least 15 minutes to half an hour. When I say meditate, I mean insight meditation, but most people need to learn first concentration meditation (shamatha meditation). It is the best to not be emotionally attached to the reading, while doing it, because it might effect the results. I would use Tarot rather than any oracle cards or any other divination method at first. You can use anything else for additional insight. I usually pick only the cards I know I should pick. I do not use random shuffle method.

When reading the who done it card look for princess/prince/page/knight/kings and queens because these depict actual physical and personality traits in people. When you are reading the one for place look at what is depicted as landscape on the card. Keep in mind when it comes to place or whereabouts, you might need to use additionally a map and some dowsing tool like pendulum, to pinpoint the more precise spot. The accuracy might not be spot on in both dowsing and divination. You can also ask the spiritual world to help you, by sending you additional clues by whatever methods suits you including dreams.

Please keep in mind information/evidence obtained via dowsing and divination or just intuition will not be accepted as evidence by the police or used in court of law. Police only work with very trusted psychics, when they reach to a dead end, and even then they still need some solid evidence, which links victim to attacker or the attacker to the crime scene and victim. You cannot simply go at the police station and tell them you know for a fact, who done it. Additionally, everybody who finds a body is questioned by the police of how this happened.

Similar spread can be changed to fit any type of crime.

Forgot to mention that I will not draw more than 9 cards in the same reading because I might confuse myself with too much detail because I will not know how all of these details fit together. So the minimum number of cards are three and the maximum 9 for me at least, but most likely I will stick to seven.

Additionally, keep in mind that this type of divination might bring about any array of complications and in some cases trauma, if one happens to be talented in these type of things and trying to get to the bottom of a violent type of a crime. In my own experience spirits, who died violent death are not jolly fellows and they might be challenging to deal with as well.
