I am new to the community so I wish you good spirits one and all.
Not to make this too detailed, but I have recently had something happen and I cannot find its meaning. I will try to write more in point form, it is not that I cant write, I am hoping for an answer or conversation tonight about this.
I was out walking on our family land which is all forest. I am always open to invitations on the land, and while walking I am aware of odd natural coincidences.
I had walked at least a half mile (1km) into the forest when I looked down and saw 2 sticks fallen in the forest perfectly in an 'X'. But then when I looked closer, there was a larger symbol. I know a couple languages and study Manderin for fun,
So I saw this symbol, and it felt as if it was 'Chinese'... but after days of looking g and searching for it.. it is not. In fact, it doesnt appear in any normal ways of searching for it. I took a few pictures, feeling it had needing and walked further aimlessly into the forest.
I can tell you absolutely no one at at any time could have laid it out, As I live in a remote area and the family land has been ours for over 1/3 of a century. I know its history back at least 100 years and there are no mysterious issues with it, and my mother who is very perceptive has only had one encounter in the 30+ years and that was with an inquisitive ball of light at night. There is no I'll will on the land in any way. We do have black wolves, a black cougar (yes I have seen it closely) and bears. I do not kill or hunt anything that would cause I'll feelings to arise.
Infact that walk I discovered what felt like a mini fairy land and had a joyful but open feeling until this symbol I came across. I continued on my walk, and the image I took stuck in my mind. I have no fear of anything. Trust me when I say that. But this seemed to feel important. I then walked for about a half an hour just in the forest, trying to find the furthest corner. But somehow, I kept going around d in circles, ending up at one spot, not the symbol, but a point where I had noticed I was doing this.
Feeling there was something odd happening, I decided to start heading back, as it was later I the day, and didnt have a rifle with me. Knowing those predictors were in this area regularly, it is unwise to be hanging out at dusk with then around.
As I walked back, and again with no particular direction, or having been in this area before, walked right back upon the symbol.
I knew something or some force was pointing me to it. And I discussed it with a wiccan friend, 3rd level. She didnt really engage the subject or seem to understand my seriousness of it's intent.
So I turn to you all. I will upload the image to my pictures here. Of a few different angles, but I have the strong feeling of which way it is to be looked at. But welcome all interpretations. I sleep rarely, so please msg me to discuss. I was drawn to this site, and believe someone here knows the answer.
If it felt like a minifairy land, than it probably was. The fae are known for tricking people, and causing a person to go around and around in circles. I'd be careful if I was you, tricked by the fae can cause time to go a lot faster, for us humans. For time doesn't exist to them, if it happens again than watch the time before you leave. This way, when it happens and you return home, to find so many hours gone than you have a idea.
Not to mention you were in the frost, it would only be natural. There's tons of stories out there, about woodland with fae movement. If you kept running into the symbol than no doubt it was important, but I feel like this is more of a puzzle for you.
You can always turn your clothesinside- out, if this experience happens again. I wouldn't recommend using iron, but I would recommend leaving offerings out. Maybe ask someone in your family, if you can, if there are any fae stories. If so, than maybe your family in the past had worked with the fae in some way. Maybe the fae want to work with you, and the only way to get your attention, is pretty much trapping you, in a circle, with a odd shape in the ground, telling you that your not getting anywhere.
I would also recommend leaving a offering for your own land and the woodland near by. Be careful though.
