Honey Jar Question

Hi everyone,

I've been doing a honey jar on my ex for about two months now. In that time, I've gotten positive signs from the candles I burn on it, but have yet to see any results from him. I burn one red and one pink candle, inscribed and anointed with oil. When I first started, the candle would burn, but not leave wax- this changed and I started to have more wax build up on the top of the jar and run down the sides.

Last night, I burned my candles on top of the jar. Towards the end of them, I ended up falling asleep (i know, i know), but then I woke up this morning, all the wax was gone from the top of the jar. There was wax on the sides still, but the only on the top of the lid was all the wicks from past candles. And there was a lot of wax! I'm kicking myself for falling asleep and not being able to watch, but has anyone had this happen before? My initial thought upon noticing it was I should not continue anymore, but I also have not gotten the desired results. Any ideas?

This sounds like a normal thing that would happen if you leave a candle to put itself out to me.

As the candle burns down, the wick will continue to burn despite the candle it came from being completely gone, the wick will then melt the max that was there from previous candles until the wick cannot burn any longer, hence the lack of wax on the top, and the presence of wax down the sides.

If you feel in your gut, that the working should be left at this point, then follow your gut. A sweetening spell like this can only go so far and if you aren't seeing any further results it may be worth changing to a different working, or leaving it entirely.
