Hey there everyone! I've recently created a YouTube channel called Misanthropy's Magic Corner. The channel is specifically for SoM and its members and focuses on helping provide our members with video tutorials, information, tips, and tricks for magic and spell casting. I will also do some video reviews for items from the site store.
Please check it out and let me know (through mail here, preferably) if there is anything you'd like me to focus on for our next video(s). I will do my best to use as many of your suggestions as possible!

These days can vary depending on holidays and schedules.
Webisodes:
I will do webisodes on Herb Magic, Crystals, etc. These will be 2-4 part mini series on a specific magical topic. One month could be herbs, (If I'm doing uploads every Wednesday that would be 4 episodes a month), one month could focus on Crystals, one on Candle Magic, etc.
Webisodes will go along with some of our articles here on the site, with links to the respective Articles/Threads so that members can easily follow along, if desired, and have both a visual and paper (so to speak) reference to spells, rituals, etc. Links for those will be provided in the video descriptions.

[after checking out the channel] so, some suggestions I have, an introduction to Paganism and Magick [basic definitions of key religions, Pagan, Wicca, Witch, Witchcraft, Spells and Magick] basic tools [athame, besom, chalice, i saw your two-parter on candles] various holidays on the wheel of the year [the main 8 but also variations depending on paths] basic esbat rituals, basic cleansing, basic protection, basic circle casting, basic grounding, basic shielding [basically in the first year of videos you could have "the basics series"]
i'm no expert on crystals [they are pretty and i've got my go-to's but i struggle identifying them] but you could also do in future a weekly tarot card or rune if you're interested. you could also go into various divination techniques. i would also love after we get the basics out of the way talking about daily practice and ways to incorporate your path into your mundane [cleansing while having a shower, a blessing while stirring your tea, a protection when you lock your door]
sorry to dump a ton of stuff on you all at once, just got super excited lol. i don't do videos, but if i could help in any way, let me know.
That's sort of what I had in mind. I'd like to get some of the basics out of the way (tools, spell ideas, etc) and then slowly work on moving into more advanced topics or areas as the videos move along and going into how you can make every day magical.
I actually wanted to change the Herb and Stone of the Month to a weekly spotlighted herb or crystal just because there are so many to go over and I feel like only doing one or two a month wouldn't do them justice, so havinga day for herbs/stones and tarot would be awesome. I admittedly don't know enough about runes to feel comfortable with doing videos on them, but the tarot idea I love!
We have a new video up on Jar Spells! Next week we'll start our "Basics Series" and have videos up on cauldrons, wands, and the Book of Shadows! Our first video(s) in the series will be on ritual tools and how to use them!

There are actually 3 of those up! They have been added to the front page segment for crystals and gemstones. We have more fun topics coming as well, things are just a bit slow right now because of all of the chaos going on with the world right now.
