Hi,I hope I didn't place this thread in the wrong place!
I'm fairly new to magic, and I'm looking to "step up" my practice,so I started with candle magic.I was wondering whether it would be possible to use multi-colored candles? If I intend to use ,let's say one red and one white candle, would a bigger half-white half-red candle be able to cover up for the two?Or would the 2 colors interfere with each other and mess up the spell since I put them in the same candle?(I'm also thinking about handcrafting them since I feel it would strengthen my energy)
My other questions regard sigils.I've searched them up and some sources said to burn/destroy them, while others say to keep them with you till your intent is fullfilledand I don't understand which one is the right way to use them.I was also wondering if it would be possible to make wax sigils?I know it may sound a bit pointless but I feel like sigils are way more specific(than candles) when it comes to intentions, and one made of a certain colored candle wax would significantly strengthen them
I apologize for any writing mistakes!I hope my questions didn't bother any of you.

Candles and sigils are both wonderful areas of magic to work with. For candle colors, the color is dependent on the practicioner and path. They can vary from one to the next. That said, if you anoint and charge the candle for a spell or ritual purpose, then it will be aligned with that purpose and intent regardless of what color you're using. Don't doubt or limit yourself because of something as miniscule as the color of a candle.
As for sigils, that too can be dependent on path and practice. I have sigils that I burn once their purpose is complete, while others I keep because they pertain to a work being done repeatedly or over an extended period of time. How you use them and what you do with them is entirely up to you and what you feel best suits you and your personal practice.
Magic can be very personal to the practicioner in question. How you practice may not be the same as how someone else practices, yet you'll have the same results.
Thank you very much for the answer!I was a bit confused since everyone seemed to be doing things similarly while still having certain differences so I wasn't sure which way was "right"!
I will practice more and hopefully everything will go well!Thank you again!
