Poppet Help

There are two people I want to make poppets of for revenge reasons. (I am not interested in making healing poppets for my current purposes.) I do not have their horoscope signs (I have narrowed one down to Libra or Scorpio but the other one I have no clue about). I do not have access to a sewing machine but I can make "ragdoll" poppets with rubberbands and cloth.

Do you have any help and/or suggestions?

Edit: I don't have candles but I do have some spices.

My first suggestion is determining whether you really feel a revenge working is necessary.

I know I get angry and think perhaps I will cast a negative working on the one whom angered me.

I aim negativity their way and things calm down for a while.

For myself it has come to the point where I realize being reactional in these situations only continues to feed the anger which in turn feeds off my own energy.

If you still feel this working is what you want I suggest you do as you suggested. Make the dolls with the bands and cloth and use spices to stuff them. You can also use extra bits of cloth you may have for stuffing.

Do I need to charge the poppet or anything?

Also what herbs are associated with pain and suffering?

Hold the poppet in your hand and allow yourself to focus on all the things this person has done to you(or to others that you care about, given the situation at hand) and use that to gather emotional energy.

When you feel yourself get to the peak of anger toward this individual, focus on that and use it to help guide your will. Focus this energy into the poppet and visualize and feel it bringing misfortune to the individual in question. Thereby, charging the poppet and turning it into a conduit for your magical act. Chanting over the poppet, to further solidify your intent, is also suggested to help further your magical act.

In this work of magic, it would gradually trickle off, until the spell ran its course, unless you plan on continuing charging the poppets for their purpose. If you feel the person or person have learned their lessons, you could dismantle the poppets and dispose of them or toss them into a fire to ritually and symbolically sever their connection to the individual.

For herbs and stuffing, I would suggest cayenne pepper, black salts, dead wasps, spider webs, and mustard seeds just to name a few.
