So hello everybody, I have a couple of questions for you. Introduction: I've tried different spells 15-20. But what I wish still doesn't come true. I just want to ask how spells work, how I should use spells. p.s. Usually, I use spells like have some ritual action, imagine what I want to come true, speak a spell, focus energy. Can you say to me, what I did-do wrong? Cause I really don't understand.
To me a spell is the point at which your thoughts become actions. Spell work is all about trajectory. Its like youre lining up to take a shot at something. Prior to a spell you have to convince yourself its going to work and that youre going to put the work in: You cant just cast a spell then sit on your hands and hope it will work. Once youve raised all that energy it needs to go somewhere so once youve cast the spell you need to start doing things that will enable the spell to be a success. Like if you want to be famous (for example) you can do a spell that asks for fame but if you dont do the leg work its really not going to happen. So the least you can do to point yourself in the right direction would be to start a YouTube channel (or something) and see where it goes. It may lead to fame, it may not, its all about giving yourself options and avenues.

If you're serious about learning how to do magic and with starting from the rock-bottom then you don't start out by casting spells, you start out by learning how and why magic works.
You see, there is no such thing as an "easy" spell or a "beginner" spell. One either understands how magic works and has mastered the basics...in which case the magic will work..or you haven't done that sort of work..and no spell will work no matter how "easy" it seems.
Casting a successful spell involves much more than finding some spell on the internet or in a book, saying some words, lighting a candle, waving a wand of any of that sort of thing. In order for magic to work you need to understand how and why it works in the first place. Grounding and centering, visualization, focus and intent, energy manipulation, etc are all necessary first steps to even begin to have a chance at a spell actually working...and more importantly to prevent a spell from back-firing on you.
So, my advice for anyone who is truly serious is to start by reading a few books and practicing the exercises those books will give you. Once you have mastered the basics you won't need anyone to give you spells, you'll be able to create your own spells that will be far more effective than anything you find on the net. Here's the books I suggest:
"Before You Cast a Spell" by Carl McColman
"Spells and How They Work" by Janet and Stewart Farrar
"The Veil's Edge" by Willow Polson
"Modern Magick" by Donald Michael Kraig
And the following links in this thread will also help you learn the basic skills necessary for effective spellwork.

About the only tidbit that I might be able to add, is to also consider the viability of what you are trying to do and if it is within the realm of possibility. Maic works with nature and probability, not against or in spite of it.
I find magic to be most helpful and successful when used for personal growth. In spiritualism all things begin with the self and that is a philosophy I find rings true most days.
For example, magic may not make someone like you, and in fact such an attempt could lead to... not so ideal consequences. But doing a working to open yourself to being more likeable or to receive understanding in how you can grow and learn to attract genuine friendship is very doable.
It is difficult to force a person to like you when you might not even be meant to cross paths in that way to begin with. Journeys don't usually join unless there is something to be learned from it. So forcing paths to cross, even if successful, would likely achieve no good. Meanwhile by opening yourself to find friendship in general it steers your attention towards the opportunities that are already around you, so you can more easily recognize a potential friendship that would lead to something more genuine and constructive.
It is said that the path to discovery lies not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
If it's spells to transform yourself into an animal or something, or to give you superpowers, those will never work since simply put they don't work. Magick is a force that works with nature, not against it.
Perhaps you need help in a specific area of magick. Lark has suggested some points already, so look into that.
You also need to actually believe in the power of magick. If you don't believe you can be happy, you will never be happy. If you don't believe you can be healthy, you'll never be healthy. Same with magick.
Magick works with nature, and thus, requires a connection to nature. I'm not saying you should go around hugging trees and shun modern life (cause spoiler alert, modern life will find you somehow).
Instead, eat, and act healthy. Don't go loading yourself up on junk food (Maybe limit yourself to a set number of cookies per day, or a specific number of days you're allowed to eat a cookie. Or something along those lines).
Im adding late to this but everyone had their own way of casting if that makes sense. I call me magic to my hands by either focusing on an emption or pulling my energy to my hands. Find a style that works for you, play with it, adapt it till it's yours. No mistake was never learned from!
It's about focus and faith anyone can cast magic but it takes focus on what. Magic suits you the best and faith enough in it that it will work these are my two main foundations why my spells work
