I wanted to cast a spell to prevent a toxic "friend" from making moves on another "friend" (who turned out to be toxic as well). What can I say, I was jealous because this girl who had a crush on my ex literally pulled strings and manipulated her way into his home!
Anyways, onto the spell process: What I did was color a piece of paper black and write her name in runes on it. Then I tied it up with black thread & bad intentions, and I even singed the edges a little bit (both to use the element fire and to make her suffer, to put it quite gently). Then, I put the piece of cursed paper into a little jar with water, and I set some intentions on it: "whenever I shake this jar, my intended message will get through to " was the main one, and I intended this to be both a sort of binding and banishing spell. I call it a "shake jar", and I think it worked! I feel kind of bad about it, but the first time I shook it, she got a panic attack 40 minutes later, talking about the exact fears I wanted her to have. This was unusual, because she's usually not a conscientious person (I know, I'm one to talk. But she had it coming, she's racist and manipulative). Fast forward a few days, I was motivated to break the spell because I didn't feel comfortable with that level of torment I was putting on her, and I didn't want it to rub off on my "friend".
Exactly one day after I "broke" the spell, these two end up TOGETHER! The very thing I was trying to prevent, and it happened! It's almost as if the way I broke the spell and the initial intentions I put into it collided together and had an outcome that I couldn't have predicted. Honestly, at first I thought it was just the spell backfiring because I got Hecate involved and I backed down on the malefic magic. But, back to the spell's results: it both bound them (together) and banished them--- from my life! And honestly, I couldn't have wished for better results myself--- there was something bigger that ended up changing everything for the better. Now I got rid of two negative people who were eating up so much of my time and energy. Have you heard of or experienced something similar to this? What do you think about this spell? I know it might not have even been the spell that caused this to happen because magic never reveals its secrets, but my better senses tell me it did. Tell me what you think in the comments below, I want to talk about magic stuff with you.

Magic tends to work in ways that we don't always expect or understand. You needed them gone and banished from your life and so it was done, albeit not in the way you expected, but perhaps it was what you needed all along. I've had similar things happen with a few of my spells, not exactly quite as you discussed here, but in my own way.
I cast a curse recently on a neighbor that had been bullying me.
I had honestly wanted them simply gone at first.
Then I cast with more of an intent of retribution.
The man whom had been bullying me passed away. He had a heart attack. He wasn't very old, mid-thirties.
His wife ended up receiving insurance money, and left with her children.
Now. I wanted simply for him to fairly get his dues. Like more of secrets coming out to the forefront as I have witnessed his flirtations with another neighbor, and a friend of his wife.
I had not wished death upon him.
I feel yes your spell more than likely resulted in their banishment as you had asked.
When we put our intention out into the world, we expect results.
Your energy went out into the universe at large and found ways to do as you asked.
Oof. That's why directors and limiters are important, unless you did use some. It's like those money spells. Unless you direct the energy to do something specific (within reason) and limit what it can do, it's going to take the path of least resistance and possibly do something you never intended.
