Disposing of Petitions

Hi.

I wanted to discuss different methods of disposing these. I have been petitioning ancestors, and am looking for a way of disposal when that which I petition for manifests.

Burying- This isn't practical for the moment as I don't own my own land.

Sending along a water source has an appeal, though I do not believe I have a running source of water nearby.

Burning again, is not practical. It is a small space.

Tearing and throwing in the bin is an option, but I wanted something which holds more reverence.

I think perhaps I could put the petitions in a jar and review these yearly of what I was able to manifest that year. And then again comes disposal.

Any thoughts?

Could you tear them up and put them into a small cauldron to burn?

I have a small incense censor I can put them in to burn. My issue is torn up or not it may be too much smoke for my space.

Recently I took a petition and cleansed it in incense smoke before tossing it in the bin. This is my method for now.

I understand the small space. It may indeed be too much smoke.

As for the running water, you could flush them, and it would still count. Not necessarily "pretty" but it'll get the job done.

I'll keep thinking and let you know if anything else pops into my brain.
