Cryomancy

Does anyone here knows anything about cryomancy which is divination with ice I wannna know how does it work please if anyone can help me with this I know that there must be something about this.

I have not read anything directly about using ice, but one can explore methods by extrapolating from other practices.

Commonly, divination comes from serving through some sort of surface that reflects, distorts, or both.

For example a scrying sphere which one can stare into and get 'lost' in the false depths your brain creates. Or using a black mirror, water mirror, or moon mirror for similar effect.

Ice can have similar properties, though it can be a bit of a task to make ice that is at least reasonably clear. For example shaping a piece of ice into a vurved-surfaced lens then looking into it. Or shaping an ice ball to mimic a crystal. Or floating a layer of ice in a shiny-black bowl or plate.

...At least that's the best I can come up with ad-hoc anyways.

You'd probably want to use distilled water to make ice for that, unless impurities would help an image take shape or something.

I think that using water from a natural source particularly if it freezes during winter could be good. As natural as possible with the blessings of Water Spirits/Deities/Fae/Dragons
