Break binding?

Hi I've been away from here for a couple years. I have an ex-family member who bound my magic and I was wondering, is there a way to break free by myself? I've done nothing wrong but they still bound me. This was before they started teaching me. They tried to teach me while I was still bound.

I don't understand. Are you saying someone binded a spell you've done or did they actually bound your capacity for doing magic? If the latter, I doubt someone could ever do that. Magic is everywhere. It is the air you breathe, the food you eat, the water you drink. You probably won't be alive or even ever existed if your magic was bound.
