Light a candle of any colour you want. Make sure it's at night. Chant the spell near the candle as many times as needed
"Each night I stay awake,
I pray to the Gods
The feeling of tiredness to take.
Make me a Night Owl
That never sleeps.
Make me it now,
Oh how it'll be sweet.
So mote it be!!"

This will not keep you awake. I would also caution using candles in any type of sleep spell.
It will if you believe in the spell. All you need is belief and the will to do so. Using candles can be optional, but there is absolutely NO harm in doing so.
Belief does not overpower reality. Your physical form needs sleep. No matter how much you believe you do not, your brain will hit shut down and you will eventually pass out. No spell can make you stay awake. You can use energy work to wake yourself up slightly, but no chant will give you the energy to stay awake for any prolonged period of time.
