Be sure to focus your anger and visualize the person having bad luck before you say the chant, you need to work up the energy for a chant to work.

depends on the amount of energy. when it comes to death curses i feel an individual doesn't have enough energy, so you would need a coven/group casting together. while i don't advocate going around cursing people on a whim, try it and see, just be careful what you wish for
