This requires an edit. This can be used in a ritual to contact your ancestors, but it is incomplete. A quick step one introduction is to light a white candle and place a glass of water in front of it as an offering. You introduce yourself and talk to your ancestors like family because they are your family. It is easier to start with a family member you knew in life and work your way back, but not required. I would also make an ancestor altar. This can easily be done by placing family photos on a table with a candle, water offering, flowers, and items they liked in life. Anyone who sees it will assume it is just a table of family photos.
