A Native American incantation to the goddess to be blessed.

Casting Instructions for 'Prayer to the Goddess'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • White candle
  • Concentration
  • Clear voice

You will need the following items for this spell:

Light the white candle and place it on your shrine or wherever you're sitting or standing. The white candle is used to purify.
Then clear your mind of everything & closing your eyes, imagine something (can be anything) peaceful. Whatever it is that you're imagining let it calm you and take a deep breath and then let it out slowly (still imagining what is peaceful to you.)
Once you're calm and ready, clearly chant the words:
''Oh Great Goddess,
Who's voice I hear in the winds,
Who's breath gives life to all the world
Hear me call to you, my goddess.''
Imagine yourself surrounded in a warm white light.
Chant again:
''I come before you, one of your children.
I am small and weak.
I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty and let my eyes
Ever behold the miracles that you have created
Make my hands respect what you have made.
My ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise, so that I may know the things
You wish for me to learn,
And see the message you have hidden
Under every leaf and rock''
Take another deep breath in and let it slowly out, imagining the white light around you again. Chant once more:
''I seek strength,
Not to be superior But to fight my greatest enemy,
Myself.
Oh great goddess, I call to you
Give me what I need.
It is my will, so mote it be''
Blow out your candle and the prayer is finished.
