Casting Instructions for 'Tame Lightening'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • 1 blue candle
  • 1 white candle
  • 1 bowl of water (5 cups)
  • 1 metal pole or rod

  • 1 metal pole or rod

During a lightening storm, get as high as you can. Set up a metal pole or rod next to the bowl of water. Light both candles as you say: "Flame above, grant me wind. Blaze of power. Destruction of the right. Fill this body with Zeus's might".

If done correctly, lightening will hit the metal pole and travel into the water. Be sure not to touch it, or it may electrocute you. Use the water sparingly afterwards in your rituals.
