Casting Instructions for 'Salt for Good Fortune'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • Clay cup (or any cup)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Spoon
  • Fresh clean water

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • Clay cup (or any cup)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Spoon
  • Fresh clean water

  1. Fill a clay cup with fresh, clean water.

  2. Add one tablespoon of salt into the water while making the sign of the cross (or focusing your intention).

  3. Carry the cup through every room and space in the house, sprinkling a little water while saying:

May this salt burn away misfortune.
May this salt dissolve all troubles.
As the salt dissolves in the water,
so may sorrows dissolve,
and joy may come into this home.

  • After blessing the entire house, place the cup outside the home.

  • Put a spoon inside the cup and leave it there until all the water has evaporated.
