How long did it take for the spell to ware off?

I saw the comment above mine. If I do this, is there a way to undo it?

it doesn't work, but if it does, it should wear off in time with the energy [or add a timeline to the chant, like ''I shall be mute for a day/week/hour'' if you're concerned]
