I would say you should go on Amazon.com and look for a beginners Wicca book or google "Basics of Magick".... try to start with that. Also check various websites like, www.workingwitch.com,www.witchvox.com www.spellsandmagic.com.... I'll list more but off the top of my head, try those.

Oh and I wanted to add Silver RavenWolf has great products. She has this teen spell kit for beginners that comes with a teen witch book, sea salt, a bell, and other stuff to get you started and the box transforms into an alter. I STRONGLY recommend you looking for Silver RavenWolf and anything she puts out. Again go on Amazon.com

Ok I know I'm "Posting" it up today, but I went on Amazon.com and found they still have that "Teen Witch Kit" by Silver RavenWolf. Again it offers a book, quartz crystal, yes and no coin, magick bag, pentagam necklace, small bell, sea salt and a book with 40 or more magick spells. With this kit, this is how I REALLY LEARNED THE BASICS OTHER THAN SURFING THE WEB! The web is good, but of course with this kit, you yourself can really learn to cast a spell by your self, and its a good read trust me... again the name is SILVER RAVENWOLF

Silver Ravenwolf should be avoided at all costs.

I say this as a critcal-thinking practitioner who has done his research on mama $ilver and has read a book by her.

if you are interested in knowing how bad her books are, and don't mind reading a few articles, here are a few web pages that explicitly show how bad mama $ilver really is.

heres a site revealing many of her character flaws

http://www.ecauldron.com/opedtarnishedsilver.php

heres another silver ravenwolf site that showcases each mistake she makes in her book "To ride a Silver Broomstick"

http://www.fortunecity.com/roswell/vanthal/608/id57.htm#

and heres a thread about it from another site i found.

I just got an idea. you can use books of silver Ravenwolf and get examples of why people shouldn't read it and get some examples of Scott Cunnington books of why it tells the truth and compair it to Silver Ravenwolf. (Sorry if it sounds childish)

Happy Blessings to you all
