Silvery material on mint?

Hi, I have been growing mint for a couple of Mounties now, and have noticed a silvery almost resinous material that appears sometimes of the leaves of my plant, can anybody help me figure out what this is?

yep. keep in mind that it grows in nature, so you really have no idea what comes in contact with the plant. so if you use the mint, make sure you wash it and make sure nothing is wrong with it beforehand.

Its probably mint rust. Its a fungal disease. Most people move their plant to different parts of their garden every other year and keep it in less moisture retaining areas to prevent this. You need to tend to that baby quick! Otherwise it can ruin the plant.

You can research it, there are many organic/natural ways to remedy it.
