have unusual connection

i am new to this but i have been awareof my abilities for awhile.i had slightly empathic abilities when i was young and then they just went away. here is the unusualpart. almost two years ago i met this man and we had an instant soul connection but not a romantic one. we ware truly connected somehow and upon meeting him my abilities can back suddenly in full force. he and i are fifteen years apart but we know when the other is sick or happy or sad without even talking. if we are out of touch for more than a few days. one or both of us gets literally sick. we know we have shared lives in the past and haveboth seen it. has anyone experienced such a thing before????

he drinks an energy drink and i get hyper. i have his dreams . we say the same things at the same time. any clues???

Kindred spirits. Perhaps a couple / lovers in other lives or spiritually.

I don't particularly believe in "soul mates" as others do. I don't think our souls are split in half lol. But I have the same connection with my husband (6 year marriage and going strong).

Marriage is a binding of two people until death. But most people use the word "forever" when discussing love. That means something, especially to magickal practioners, words spoken are not just words spoken. So many times, our "love" in another life or lives is connected to our spirit deeply.

What you're sensing is the spiritual link/bind/bond and the empathy that comes with all such connections

the thing is that we have a platonic relationship though we tell each other i love you ,its purely through friendship.

I've had something similar happen. It was a friend I met, I found that I could feel her pain and happiness. Even now, though I've lost touch with her I can still feel her pain. We called ourselves 'soulsisters.'

Well I did say "kindred" spirits. Lol. What you choose to do with that is up to you. Many people are just friends with past life loves, especially if the partnership ended badly. One of my best friends in high school was a love in a past life of mine. I knew because I would randomly look at him and expect a different face. I would get flashbacks and dreams of him in old fashioned clothes and feel endeared toward the image. We remained good friends for seven years 100% platonic.

Many married couples divorce yet remain best friends afterward. When we die in a life it is a seperation of the binding of union (until death do us part), but that doesn't mean the connection disappears.I'm merely explaining a possible reason for your empathy. That's all. =)

There could be many reasons for the connection, but the most common is past life lovers, parent/child, or close sibling. Lovers are more likely due to the extent of your link. Some say that true intimacy is the union of two souls, especially when that intimacy is shared with two people who truely love each other. We may reincarnate, but that doesn't mean our spirit's forget.

is it possible for one of us to feel the connection from one life, say a guardian? and the other to feel a stronger conection from one of the other lives we have shared?

Perhaps it's because I am reading this at 4am my time and don't have the proper comprehension I would on a good night's rest but I will have to ask you to elaborate on the question. I'm thoroughly confused.

Seeing that no one else has responded, I don't believe I'm alone concerning the confusion.

Sometimes when we have questions and write them down, they don't sound as good as they did in our heads. =)

ok! sometimes i look at him through a guardian or maybe even i mothers eyes and there are times that i get a ummm, how shall i say. lovers view? he sees me as a comrade in arms so to speak. there are times we look at each other and say we are an old married couple. we can sit silently and be comfortable in each others presence and know each other so well.
