Errrmmm I'm confused

Has anyone else here lost mail they didnt delete and then have issues with signing in site?!!!

Yep i lost some mail too, three messages in total hadn't even read them. No probs signing in though....

There was some downtime today as I was optimizing the database and rebooting servers. Once again this was to improve performance of the website.

People who had a large number of saved/unread messages sometimes took 10 seconds to load the page of messages in the mailbox, this should now be fixed.

I also mass deleted messages from a few people who were using the mail system to spam advertisements, but again it was only messages from a few people, no one should have lost any real messages (unless they were sent fro the spammers as well)

i really miss the old message system, so that i could look back all the way back, and not have to delete messages

the new one is actually doing well for me as i'm, slowly sorting through the horrendous mass which is my inbox.

I may add page-ation to the mail if I feel it is needed, however, I do not see why anyone would need to keep over 100 old messages around. Delete your old messages and you won't have a problem with the message limit.

Well untill the new mail syatem came about(which i am most thankful for). I didnt know the true extent of it lol.

i have 990+ read messages........im a pack rat, i always find a use for something. an inane fact someone stated 3 months ago might help me now....if i can find it ;)

I actually find its a lot easier to go back and read and delete as appropriate now to be honest. If there is any important informatin on there that is way too much to be saved for database reasons on the mail you could always cut and paste to Word and save on yor computer.
