Okay, so my psychiatrist actually listened to me about my experiences with a spirit whom I befriended and said that what I had experienced were not hallucinations at all.
I have a question though: what kind of spirits can physically move you, move objects, and/or become visible and audiable as if they were flesh and blood? James(the name of the spirit) actually was able to physically move me on multiple occasions. He once pulled me out of the way of an oncoming car. While he did this, I was able to see him as if he were a living, breathing person and I heard him yell/scream "watch out!"
I was only able to see him for a couple of seconds before I blinked and I saw him in the usual way that I see him, but it was a shocking event.
Honestly, while there are probably some that are more likely to interact physically with people and our plane of existence, the fact that you're friends with him probably has more to do with this than anything else.
Sound like a guardian angel or some sort. Thank him for watching out for you and ask him if he will tell more about himself. Ask him what he likes and try to show/give him. What I seen and read from others. If spirit want to see you, they will show them self. If you start talking to James, just make sure no one else is around.
sometimes spirits materialize and become flesh and blood but a short time and it drains energy and u dont see him materialized because he wont be strong enogh to save u again
this iformation was given by my dead grandppa i am hapy he is stil around me

Manifestation of a spirit is far different than an apparition, at least I like to think so. An apparition is seen but can seem a bit off, such as see through, emanating light of their own, or they may seem tangible but go through a physical object or person. A manifestation is when they full form and can literally be mistaken for a physical person, can touch and talk, and be entirely indistinguishable from any other being on earth.
If he consistently manifests then that demonstrates that he is either linked to you as his anchor to this plane or he once was incarnated on Earth. Just because he was incarnated does not mean he cannot be something "higher" because many many religions seek to ascend their souls or reach enlightenment. In cultures that worship their ancestors, many wise ancestors reach pretty much godlike status in the eyes of their tribe or bloodline. In fact, many mythological deities were historical people. It doesn't make them any less of what they are. They earned their status. But it's something to think about.
If you recently found out where his body was buried, then clearly he lived and is now a ghost or something else tricking you into thinking it is this person's ghost. I have found that there is no such thing as immaterial matter, everything is made of something and that something can interact with other things. I doubt he is becoming flesh and blood, but rather is just moving things as his type does. (I cannot say if it is through telekinesis or actually grabbing things to move them as I am not there to see and I do not know what you are truly dealing with.) You can ask him to show himself, and if your eyes are open, you'll see him as he is. But prepare yourself for it. The moment you think, "this can't be real" he'll disappear. Ask him to shake your hand, if he says he can but then cannot, he is a trickster - do not trust him. But, if he says he can't and doesn't or if he is able to and does, then he should be trust worthy. This is a simple test, but it's worked for me in the past. Also, your psychiatrist is either a very spiritual person or a liar. Best of luck with that.
