bees

my family keeps bees, and with that i have grown an spiritual attachment with them. they have become a signs of good thing around me, i follow them when i gather wildflowers for alter offerings, will look to the hives at home to predict how the day will go and trust there honey above all else.

i was wondering though if there was any bee magic i am missing, and if there is any protection i can help give to them in return.

I don't know about bee magic, but there are superstitions that if somebody dies (or gets born, or gets married) in a community then you're supposed to tell the bees. I'm also reminded of some minor deities in Greek mythology, I think they're the Thriae and they have something to do with prophecies.

Actually during a short study on hinduism. I came up by a few random topic's one of them being Bee's in Magic/Spiritual practice.

Mind you I have not cross reference this but here are a few things I came across by:

• Healing

Honey is seen as a sacred item in certain culture's due to these aspect's.

There are a great many different types of the insect species we call "bees". Only one type is kept in hives! For instance, Bumble bees are born underground! The British Museum has hundreds of different bees.
